I have been with Laserhosts for 4 years. During that time I have had 4 or 5 problems needing their assistance.

They advertise 24x7 support but I think that means 24 days or 7 weeks as their customer support is non-existent. I have had a trouble ticket open for 13 days now!!! yep 13.

Past support has been the same - submit a trouble ticket and wait for days and days and days. Call the phone line and you are asked to leave a message - no matter what time of day. Use the online chat - never anyone there.

As long as you don't have any kind of problem their service is fine. Server response seems adequate but for the same price you can get so much more elsewhere - and very short response times.

I have left calls on their phone line, sent emails, and opened trouble tickets all with very poor results. Most companies will provide at least 24 hour or less responses. Not Laserhosts - 13 days so far!!!

I am attempting to move my hosting off of Laserhosts. Took a while to make the move - I am a glutton for punishment I guess. But since I registered my domain name through them, I now have the problem of gaining access to my domain account so that I can update the customer info and change the name server entries. Not going so well.

Beware of signing up with these folks. Their customer support is just not anywhere on the radar scope. I doubt if Hubble Space Telescope could spot it!!!
