Even though ive never used any other host, and I stumbled onto their web site by mistake about 4 years ago ive found pipeten to be:

# VERY helpful. Any questions or queries are cleared up pronto!
# VERY helpful. I was new to PHP and mysql and they helped me find tutorials and gave advice!
# VERY patient. They answer all my random questions.
# VERY patient. There were a couple times I had an overdue balance for more than a week. Although I received notification emails, I wasn't threatened, or bullied into paying them.

I HAD looked into other hosts purely for the price.... which isn't bad at all. I was seeing if I could get the services I currently use somewhere else but for cheaper. I'm worried that by going 50% cheaper id be forfeiting the quality and the level of service. So wont be going anywhere!

My sites have only ever been offline maybe 4 times the whole time ive been with them. They do an awesome job.
