How can a hosting company lose a client in 10 seconds? I'll let the e-mail exchange speak for itself.
+------ I wrote to DS complaining about suspending my account w/out notice and not getting back to me right away: Dear Digital Sense, a few days ago, my site was suspended without notice, no email, no phone call, nothing. I tried to get ahold of your tech support, but no one got back to me until I sent 10 requests begging for information. It turns out it was time to renew my account, but my credit card number has changed since the last time the account was billed. +------ dsensehosting.net wrote back: Dear Christopher, We would appreciate that you don't open 10 tickets with same subject. Please update your credit card information here: https://www2.2checkout.com Kind Regards, Digital Sense Hosting +----- I replied: If you would have sent me an email, a heads up, that there was a problem with my credit card, or that there was any problem at all rather than just suspending the site and letting me find out that way, that would have been enormously helpful!!!! +------ dsensehosting.net wrote back a threatened to close my account: Dear Christopher, Just to inform you that we do not tolerate this kind of behaviour. Next time you open 10 repeated tickets at once with not data, we will simply refund your money and terminate your account. If you want your site up, keep payment data updated. This behaviour is unacceptable. All other tickets will be closed with not reply. Thank you, Digital Sense Hosting +----- I immediately decided to move my account to another hosting company -- I replied: You're fired. My account and all the files will be moved over to other hosting company. I'll be closing my account with you once the transfer is complete. +------ dsensehosting.net wrote back and told me that Digital Sense need my business: Dear Christopher, We respect your decision. Fortunatelly we have more than 2000 clients that do not treat us like you did. Please let us know when you want us to cancel the credit card order or you can personally do it calling 2checkout. +------------------- Today, while I was in the process of moving files to a new hosting company, dsense.net cancelled my account without my authorization: The following recurring order for Digital Sense has been cancelled and will no longer bill. If you have questions or wish to dispute this action please contact us at your earliest convenience. Thank You, 2Checkout.com Inc +---------- I wrote back: I will be reviewing your customer service at hosting comparison sites.
